Janet Thompson is based in Columbia, Missouri, elected as the Boone County District 11 (Northern) Commissioner. Prior to becoming Commissioner, Ms. Thompson served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Missouri State Public Defender system for nearly 25 years. During her time as a public defender, she helped to save seven of her clients from the death penalty.
