Rev. Tom Duley is a retired Methodist minister who began many years ago to visit prisoners through a prison ministry program that brought him to Alabama's death row. For decades now, Rev. Duley has been a spiritual advisor and a friend to dozens of men on death row, which has led him to witness the executions of five men. He strongly believes that no one should die alone, particularly in such a hostile manner, thus he made the decision to be a witness for these men in order to make sure that they had a kind, loving face to look upon during execution.
